Home Care

 At Kharis Solutions we offer a service that emphasises friendly, personal support to residents, Care Workers, and their families.

We offer a thorough care needs and risk assessment that provides an honest understanding of the resident’s needs, which will determine the level of care required, and help us to provide the most compatible Care Worker.

Where possible, we will accompany the Care Worker, on the first day of the start of a new package of care and offer practical support during the initial set-up. In our experience this provides continuity of care and as little disruption to the client's daily life as possible.

During the service we will keep in regular contact with the Care Worker, resident, and family. We will respond to changes in the resident or Care Worker needs, recognising any additional requirements, or responding quickly and effectively, with remedial action, to any drop in standards. .

Residents and care workers are offered out of hours support, to ensure customer and worker satisfaction.

We will help in any way we can upon your enquiry, with no obligation whatsoever. We will always endeavour to "go the extra mile"

Over Night Dom Care Visits (starting from 22:00pm to 07:00am) Dom Care Only.

Residents who are in receipt of Direct Payments or who have Personal Budgets, are welcome to call us, for a no obligation, free assessment.

Our Care Workers

The care workers are recruited via a rigorous selection process, which includes a face-to-face interview, reference checks, DBS checks, and Induction program.

The care workers will possess a range of qualifications, skills and experience, depending on their backgrounds. Kharis Solutions will be responsible for ensuring that the experience and qualifications are compatible with its stated requirements, and the needs of the client community.

Kharis Solutions will maintain a register of trained care workers, in sufficient number and diversity to enable each individual client's requirements to be met.

Kharis Solutions will ensure that all care workers are fully versed in their responsibilities and familiar with (and have access to copies of) all Kharis Solutions policies, procedures, and codes of conduct. These policies will include the Protection of Vulnerable Adults, Health and Safety, MCA, Data Protection. etc.

The care worker introduced will deliver personal and practical care to clients in their own homes. This care and support will be delivered in a way that maintains and respects the privacy, dignity and lifestyle of the resident.

The care worker will understand the process to be followed for:

Keeping the client’s family and Kharis informed of any changes.

Recommended financial guidelines

Record keeping

Moving and handling,

Medication assistance

Monitoring Health and safety incidents and accidents

Safeguarding of vulnerable adults

Complaint/compliment and disciplinary procedures

Code of Conduct of a care worker

Infection Control

Data protection and
