 Job Summary

About us

We are offering a great opportunity to work in a well-established growing organisation who actively promote career progression for every single member of our team.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic support workers to join our closely knit team in Slough and Reading, working in our unique Supported Living Service (SLS) supporting people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health who live in their own home. This is a rewarding and exciting role and we'll be looking to you to provide support and guidance to develop their life skills and lead independent lives.

The hours for this role can vary depending on the customers care packages, but tend to start from either 9am-5pm, 11am-4pm or 5pm-10pm (full-time support workers will have to be available for at least two sleep in every 7-10days, depending on the service and all support workers will be expected to work a minimum of 1 weekend per calendar month). You will receive a comprehensive induction and on-going training programme, as well as regular supervision to ensure you are fully equipped to support our customers. You will also have the support of a Registered Manager, Team Leader and Senior Support Workers. If you wish to have a career in care where no two days are the same, you are able to be out in the community and be a part of a company with great career prospects then this is the role for you.

Do you have this in common with members of our team?..

You want to have fun and be a part of a great team

You know that not every day will be all fun and happiness.

Some days you may not feel like being happy and upbeat but you are the type of person that will always give your absolute best and helps others have a happier day
